My story

 

This blog was born for the love of my friends, who do not stop asking me to make a blog. The truth is, that I overcame my shyness because it is easier to put the recipe once here, than  send it to each one every day :)

My mother always wanted to teach me how to cook

(He cooked incredible) but I resisted, I did not feel it, then with 14-15 years old when the first psychotic outbreak of adolescence began to diet and lose waight XD, and I could not count on her wisdom, nor her good will to make salads and lighter food, than the typical heavy stews and goulash from Hungary,

I started my adventures the first time in the kitchen, the result was incredible: my mother secretly ate my rich inventions and I was left without food, but happy, that then it's not bad at all what I cooked ..

A couple of years and illnesses later, when I had to listen to the doctors several times, that it is all that can be done (take pills and not improve), I began to investigate more and more, what can I do to have better quality of life. Very much what I can do ..

​

I found wonderful teachers and friends of all kinds along the way. I was invited to work in Amsterdam for example to take photos for a new raw vegan restaurant. My friend, Mercedes was the chef, who prepared the recipes, wonderful tricks and new flavors, I"m very proud of her, she teache me a lot of things.

7 years ago I quit consume animals, gradually I stopped eating them, first because I felt in better health, later because I am crazy about animals, I cannot help it.

A year ago I found a way of veganism, a diet that changed my world a lot, Plant based whole food, the diet based on whole plant foods.

"Do not remove anything good, nor add anything bad" - it is the most important thing about this diet, which is neither new, before industrial food, we ate like this. Foods such as whole grains , tubers, fruits and vegetables, legumes, herbs, spices and vegetable fats are included in this type of diet: in the form of seeds, not in the form of oil if possible.

But of all this the most important thing is that there are incredible recipes, flavors and textures, that I never knew. And since I am a professional photographer and my work is creativity, it is something that got me hooked: the colors, textures, smells, flavors, an orgy for the senses .. Cooking became a constant discovery, game, therapy, ritual .. .

​

So much so that even my friends got hooked (I usually invade their kitchens when I am there to visit and I cook mainly because I had many intolerances and it gave me a stick to list everything I could not eat, it was easier for me to cook), and they They not only endure the invasion, but with curiosity and enthusiasm they try all my creations. With my work I travel a lot, because of course the first thing I do is try the food from each place, go to markets, make mothers, grandmothers and mothers-in-law confess to give me their best-kept cooking secrets.

Life is very big, an incredible adventure ... Just need to add a little spice yum. (by the way, nobody will beat me eating chili, I'm a fan)
